Premios eLearning 2008 de la European Schoolnet Roma 4 de diciembre de 2008

Une école Turque remporte les prix eLearning 2008 à Rome

EuroPoems, projet soumis dans le cadre des Prix eLearning 2008 par Elif Kara, professeur turque de l’école Hisar Egitim Vakfi Okullari située à Kemerburgaz, près d’Istanbul, a remporté le Young Digital Planet Platinum Prize, dans la catégorie réservée aux professeurs exceptionnels. L’annonce a été faite lors de la cérémonie de remise des prix qui s'est déroulée à Rome le 4 décembre2008.

Piotr Mroz, directeur général de Young Digital Planet a remis au professeur un trophée en cristal, un chèque d’une valeur de 3000€ ainsi qu’un tableau blanc interactif pour son école.

Miguel Roa Guzmán, professeur espagnol dans l’établissement I.E.S. San Juan de Dios a remporté l’Interwrite Learning Gold Prize, dans la catégorie destinée aux professeurs exceptionnels pour son projet 10x10x10.

Au total, huit écoles ont été récompensées lors des Prix eLearning2008 et ont reçu des prix d'une valeur de 40000€ (chèques et équipements).

Athanasios Tsagatakis (Grèce) de l’école secondaire de premier cycle de Zephyri pour le projet Reduce– Reuse– Recycle

Cisco Bronze Award pour l’apprentissage coopératif
Giuseppina De Petro (Italie) du Liceo Scientifico Statale Galeazzo Alessi pour le projet Twinagers news (en collaboration avec le lycée français Jean Lurçat)

Microsoft Bronze Award pour l’alphabétisation électronique
Monica Hulea (Roumanie) du Grup Şcolar VASILE SAV pour le projet The paradox of choice

O2 Telefonica Bronze Award pour l’expression culturelle
Fredrik Olsson de l’école Vindängen pour le projet Make film and share IT with friends 2.0!

Tous les projets ont remporté, outre un chèque, des équipements pour leur école comprenant:

* Un tableau interactif (offert par Interwrite Learning, Promethean et SMART)
* Un système interactif de réponse et 32boîtiers (Interwrite Learning)
* Un Classmate PC (Intel)
* Certains lauréats ont également gagné des kits Smart Senteo ainsi qu’un appareil photo Document.

Turkish school wins 2008 eLearning Awards in Rome

“EuroPoems”, a project submitted to the 2008 edition of the eLearning Awards by Elif Kara, a Turkish teacher from Hisar Egitim Vakfi Okullari located in Kemerburgaz near Istanbul, won the Young Digital Planet Platinum Prize - Special category for outstanding teachers at the Award Ceremony in Rome on 4 December 2008. Piotr Mroz, Executive Director from Young Digital Planet awarded the teacher with a crystal trophy, a cheque for € 3,000 and an interactive whiteboard set for her school.

Miguel Roa Guzmán, a Spanish teacher from I.E.S. San Juan de Dios won the Interwrite Learning Prize - Special category for outstanding teachers for his project "10 x 10 x 10".

Eight schools were awarded in the 2008 eLearning Awards for a total of € 40 000 in cash prizes and equipment worth a similar amount, provided by Interwrite Learning, SMART, Promethean and Intel.

The other six prizes awarded at the ceremony were:

Promethean Gold Award for the e-Mature School Karin Ernst (Germany) from LIFE e.V. - Projekt eXplorarium for ‘eLearning in der Ganztagsschule erkunden’.

Intel Gold Award for Technology Joze Štrucl (Slovenia) from SERŠ Maribor for ‘Digi DT’

SMART Silver Award for Mathematics and Science Athanasios Tsagatakis (Greece) from 2nd Junior High School of Zefyri for ‘Reduce - Reuse – Recycle’

Cisco Bronze Award for Collaborative Learning Giuseppina De Petro (Italy) from Liceo Scientifico Statale Galeazzo Alessi, for ‘Twinagers news’ (in collaboration with French school, Lycée Jean Lurçat)

Microsoft Bronze Award for eLiteracy Monica Hulea (Romania) from Grup Şcolar “VASILE SAV” for ‘The paradox of choice’.

Telefonica O2 Bronze award for Cultural Expression Fredrik Olsson from Vindängen school for ‘Make film and share IT with friends 2.0!’

All projects won cash prizes plus equipment for their school including

* Interactive whiteboard sets provided by Promethean, Interwrite Learning and SMART Technologies,
* Student Response System 32 units provided by Interwrite Learning
* Classmate PC provided by Intel
* Specific winners also won Smart Senteo kits and Document cameras.
